We are a faith-driven clothing brand inspired by the enduring strength of ancient Rome and the eternal truth of God’s Word. Rooted in timeless faith and bold conviction, we craft apparel that reminds believers to stand firm, live with purpose, and give all glory to God.
I - Jake Scherer didn’t set out to build a clothing brand;
I set out searching for something deeper.
Through that search, I found God.
With it came a complete shift in identity, purpose, and direction.
Like many men, I was drawn to the Roman Empire.
The strength, brotherhood, sheer power and magnitude of their rule.
Along with iconic movies of his generation like The Gladiator, Spartacus, and 300.
But over time, that fascination became something more.
As my faith grew, the connection became clear through the Book of Romans in the New Testament.
Its message of transformation, renewal, obedience, and
unwavering faith revealed what it truly means to live a life set apart.
What was once just an interest in the Roman Empire
began to reflect a deeper calling.
To be spiritually disciplined, grounded in truth, and unashamed living for Christ.
The structure and resilience of Rome began to mirror the spiritual foundation
laid out in the Book of Romans.
A life built not on shifting culture, but on the unchanging truth of God’s Word.
What started as two separate influences; faith and fascination came together to form one mission.

My mission is to build a strong, faith-driven community
that grows with us as we pursue excellence in both purpose and product.
While we are in the early stages now, my goal is to continue to offer the
highest quality garments made from 100% cotton, wool, silk, and linen.
Through your support, I will continue to scale Raising Romans into a brand that reflects
integrity not only in message, but in everything we create.
